Textile introduction brushing

Lay the garment on a flat surface while brushing. A firm pillow, for example, works well as a base for brushing knitwear. Hold the garment in place with one hand and brush with the other hand in the direction of the pile, usually from top to bottom. If the surface of the garment is very shabby, it is a good idea to brush the product in two different directions. Always switch your supporting hand to the side where you start brushing. If you are brushing from top to bottom, support the garment at the top; if from bottom to top, support the hem.

Especially fluffy knits, such as cashmere and alpaca, benefit from brushing in two directions.

Maintenance brushing

A clothes brush is a handy tool when you need a quick clean while wearing your clothes. Gently pull the garment lengthwise from the hem while brushing so that the brush glides effortlessly over the surface of the garment.

Suit jackets are also easy to clean when hung on a hanger. You can enhance the cleaning effect of brushing by lightly spraying the garment with water before brushing, which is especially useful for dark clothes.

Product text

With the Arkivé Care clothes brush, you can replace the messy roll of adhesive, reduce the number of washes, and extend the life of your clothes – especially woolen ones.

Brushed, pile-like knits like cashmere and alpaca benefit especially from brushing. A clothes brush will loosen tangles, fluff up, and smooth the surface.

The gentle yet effective Arkivé Care clothes brush is suitable for all materials – even the most delicate wools, silk and even tights. It also works great for cleaning outdoor clothing, equipment, home textiles and furniture. The clothes brush has vegan, castor oil-based Bionifil® bristles, which are cut with the properties of textiles in mind. The soft and dense bristles effectively remove dirt and lint, smooth the surface and prevent pilling by removing loose fibers.

The brush comes with a handy brush cleaner.
